課程概述 |
Using an atoms-first approach, this General Chemistry course will cover fundamental chemical principles broadly applicable in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Materials Science, and various fields of Engineering. In the first semester, we will focus on microscopic viewpoints of chemical phenomena, starting from a concise introduction to basic quantum mechanical principles with an emphasis on electronic structures of atoms and molecules and continuing to introduce microscopic and statistical pictures for states of materials. |
